**Spring Waterfront Festival at Grand Street Park!**
Grand Street Park, at Grand St and Kent Ave in Williamsburg
**Celebrate the Williamsburg/Greenpoint waterfront and oppose Bloomberg’s development plan.**
Music by the Hungry March Band, Rude Mechanical Orchestra and others!
Free food, Treasure hunts, Pirate Radio, Guerrilla gardening, Kite flying, Art making, Fun, and Festivities.
Bring friends, family, radios (to tune into the pirate radio station), art supplies, musical instruments, kites, bikes, plants, food to share, dancing shoes and your love of Brooklyn!
The plan allows for the development of thousands of new housing units in high-rise towers along the Williamsburg/Greenpoint waterfront, which would accommodate 40,000 new higher income residents. Bloomberg’s plan would also result in the loss of 4000 local jobs, and wouldn’t increase the amount of public space and parks.
**Reclaim the Waterfront and stop Bloomberg from taking it away!**
