A group of filmmakers, photographers, and others concerned about proposed rules by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Film rallied at Union Square on July 27th, 2007. The rules make it difficult for even casual filmmakers and photographers to operate in New York City.
With regulations concerning dancing, biking, parading, shouting and assembling, these rules are a part of a broader continuum of attacks on our First Amendment rights.
